NCFE Level 2 – Certificate for Airline Cabin Crew


Introduction
 
The Level 2 Certificate in Cabin Crew prepares learners for entry to airline industry training. It is not intended as a replacement to the training given by airlines upon the receuirement of new cabin crew staff. This qualifications provides the basic background skills, knowledge and understanding required to work effectively as a member of cabin crew.
This is ideal for those seeking employment or for those wishing to enhance their studies in travel & tourism.
 
Modules:
 
The award consists of six mandatory units:
 
Unit 01 Working as Cabin Crew<
Unit 02 Airline health, safety and security
Unit 03 Aircraft emergency situations
Unit 04 Dealing with passengers on board an aircraft
Unit 05 Cabin services – selling techniques
Unit 06 Making passengers announcements on board an aircraft
Unit 07 Employment Rights and Responsibilities in the Passenger Transport Sector
 
Duration:
 
Six months
 
Entry Requirements :
 
*A minimum age of 18
*A good level of written English
*An excellent standard of health which may be subject to medical examination by the airline
*Height between 5’2
